Best Fit: Huggies Plus
Huggies Mom: While Pampers are less bulky in between the legs, Huggies Plus has a snugger fit against the back. Mom liked the fact that explosions were contained in the diaper and did not get on her baby or their clothes. The protective barrier minimized the amount of outfit changes she had to perform throughout the day. Of course, she still had to change her babys diaper but she didnt have to change their clothes.
An added bonus of Huggies Plus is that the newborn size comes with a cut out for the umbilical cord to prevent rubbing and discomfort. If newborns could talk, were sure theyd complain about their soon-to-be belly buttons rubbing against their diapers. On the other hand, she felt that that Pampers where so loose around her kids backside that if they were sitting up straight, she was able to see straight down the diaper to her babys bum.
Pampers Mom: Our Pampers mom definitely had the opposite experiencethe fit of the Huggies diapers was not conducive to holding in dirty diapers at all. Kirkland Diapers Aren’t The Best Value
Cheapism notes that it’s impossible to buy diapers at Costco without doing so in bulk, since the smallest quantity they sell in size 1 , contains a whopping 192 diapers. Babies will likely outgrow the size before all of the diapers are used. Besides, there are smaller quantities available at both Target and Amazon, both of which also boast subscription services and discounted prices. The Daily Meal argues diapers are actually cheaper at Target and Walmart. What’s more, you can buy diapers through Amazon Family and enjoy a 20 percent discount. If you’re looking to buy in bulk, you can also do so without having to worry about fitting everything in your car.
And while the majority of reviews on are positive for Kirkland diapers, a few unhappy shoppers point out some issues. They advise that Kirkland diapers have trouble with leakage. Another reviewer revealed the diapers are, “The first ‘Kirkland brand’ item I won’t buy again.” They may be cheaper than the name brand alternative, but Kirkland diapers may not get the job done as well as their competitors.

I am a huge fan of Kirkland diapers so I was interested to see if Huggies could compare. I did a lot of research and found that Kirkland diapers cost less, but they also absorb 30% less than Huggies.
Huggies are known for their cute designs, but Kirkland recently updated their designs to be just as adorable. But at the end of the day, you really cant go wrong with either one. Both brands will keep your baby dry and comfortable.
So, which should you choose? Kirkland diapers vs Huggies?
Well, that depends on your budget and what youre looking for. If you want a diaper that is absorbent and affordable, go with Kirkland. If you are looking for a diaper with blow-out prevention and the best absorbency, go with Huggies.
